I am most likely going to upgrade to an 800D in the next month or two and am going to stick an XSPC RX360 in the roof of the case. I was just wondering, what would be the best direction for the fans (I will be replacing the 140mm stock fans with Noiseblocker PK3s).

1) Top 3 intake, bottom 140 intake, rear 140 exhaust
2) Top 3 Exhaust, bottom 140 intake, rear 140 intake
3) Top 3 Exhaust, bottom 140 intake, rear 140 exhaust

Which of these combinations would you/have you guys gone for?

Cheers

my top 3 exhaust on a RS360 rad, max temps hover around 43oC with 3 loons pushing, with a single Apache drawing air in from the back
Case is 800D too :D

I went for option number 2 in my 800D, although I got rid of the bottom intake and didn't see any ill-effects temps wise. Exhausting the air through the roof rad drew enough air across the mobo to keep it cool.

Not going to make too much of a difference but it's long been demonstrated that positive air pressure creates the best + most airflow in cases. (1) should theoretically be the best option as you cool the WC components with cooler outside air, and there's a massive positive air pressure forcing hot air out of the case.
