Rightm so I have a week off work and so to kill a day I intend to tidy up my PC and refit my server into a new case, namely a Bitfenix Shinobi.
First up the 800D.
Specs are
Corsair 800D
Gigabyte P55A UD4
i5 760 @ 3.3GHz
4 x 2GB Corsair Dominator Ram @ 1600 MHz
XFX Black Endtion 6870
Corsair HX650W
Crucual C300 64GB SSD Boot Drive running Windows 7 Ultimate x64
WD 1TB Black Storage
WD 2TB Green Storage
HP 2TB External Backup Drive
Watercooling Gear
EK Supreme HF nickel/plexi
EK 360 Rad with Gentle Typhoon 1850rpm fans
EK 6870 block - has suffered from galvanic corrosion so will be removing it from the card and refitting the stock cooler whilst i RMA it
Laing DDC pump with EK res top.
This is just a mess! Will be stripping all the water cooling gear out and redoing it all with new clear tubing. Will also find a better place to mount the pump.
Gonna have to stick the stock cooler back on the 6870 so not very pleased with that!
Next we have the server
Specs
Gigabyte 880 AM3
AMD 550 Dual unlocked to a tri core @ 4GHz
Antec Box cooler
8GB OCZ RAM @ 1333MHz
XFX TX5450 for monitor out to free all the memory up
Corsair 650W PSU
320GB Western Digital 2.5" Boot Drive running Windows Server 2008 R2 x64 (mounted to the back of the mobo tray)
3 x 1TB Hard Drives. 1TB for Movies, 2TB for TV shows
The Zalman is a decent case but I want to stick some extra hard drives in there so went for the Bitfenix as it had a bit more space and looks a lot nicer.
Hopefully the spiders nest of cables will be properly hidden, not just left like I did when I originally built this server.
If anyone has any good ideas where best the pump in the 800D can go then please let me know! I left it on top of the midplate fan to stop it getting hot so somewhere in there with some airflow would be good.
Fan wise there are the 3 fans for the rad, the enermax cluster on the back, a 140mm fan on the midplate and a 140mm fan for the hot swap bay.
