Any major difference or do the differences only come in when you overclock? I know some motherboards only support 800Mhz? /shrugs.

800Mhz or 1066Mhz?

If you had 3 systems setup, one with 667MHZ Memory, one with 800MHZ Memory and the other 1066MHZ Memory, i would be very suprised if you could confidently say this one has 1066MHZ Memory in.
Only reason to get 1066 Memory is if your aiming for uber overclocks and you have a water cooling or phase setup.
If your on air cooling, by the time your memory becomes capped out, you will be held back by your temps anyway.
