I imagine there will be a lot of firmware updates for the pre N kit sold to bring it all in to line.

About blooming time! Typical, I just recently bought my DGN2000 which is still draft-N! Does this mean that all current draft-N devices will now be recognised as standard N or do you need to buy a new router to take advantage of the full N?

Oh that should be good then, hopefully Netgear will release a new firmware sometime soon for the DGN2000 for us in the UK market as they have not released a new firmware version yet since the router has come out!

It depends on how different the ratified 802.11n standard is to whatever implementation the DGN2000 used. It's possible (but unlikely) that it might take a hardware change.
