So just a quick question. I sold my PC yonks ago and bought a Mac M1 Mini, lovely quiet machine. I missed Mechwarrior Online so bought a cheap HP Ryzen 5 machine, hp m01-f0027. The Ryzen Vega 11 isn't great for Mechwarrior, so I bought another 8 GB ram and a Rx 460 2GB Gigabyte O/C edition. It requires no external power, upon opening up the machine it apears it has an 80W PSU! not the 180 gold I thought it had. So me being me, I've stuck it anyway. So far so good, thing is there is a nagging feeling or voice in my head saying "It's gonna go pop!".
So Erica2 motherboard, NVME SSD, 1TB spinner, Ryzen 5 3500G and RX 460 and 80W PSU. Recipe for disaster or is it all good? no additional power required for card.
Another couple of annoying things, despite me adding the card, the available ram is still missing 2GB, it's reserved it and the VERY limited bios won't allow me to do anything about it; unless anyone knows anything different?
I don't have a monitor spare for the PC, I have a Sharp Aquos 24" TV, 1920x1080 resolution. Windows tells me best resolution is 1366x768 despite my Nintendo Switch being happy as Larry at 1080p. TV has no dedicated PC input just HDMI. I can select 1080p and despite it being a 1080p TV it wants 1366x778 and recommends that. TV is LC-24DHF4011K, it's running full bit colour but still looks slightly washed out/meh?
Any help on any of the above most appreciated.
