OK, so I've built up a HTPC for mostly media playback and downloading, with 1Tb storage, with onboard nVidia 8200 graphics.

Anyone got any experience with what kind of performance I can squeeze out of this? Thinking of being able to take it to LAN events just for a giggle more than anything :D

Wanna avoid loading half my games on to find most won't run..... :p

HL2 / CS:S at reasonable quality/resolution? Or is that pushing it?

Why not take your other rig?

Also, if you have the games and the htpc, why not just find out? :S

8200 is pretty pants, only decent on board GPU's are the 780G and the new nvidia 9300/9400.

Ta for the graphs, hadnt seen those elsewhere - Mainly got the 8200 for HD playback without needing a separate card.

Nice to know it'll do COH with a bit of eye candy, though I was hardly expecting it to play Crysis - might run a few older things on it occasionally though.

css is heavily cpu dependant, it should run well with a good overclocked dual/quad

Box has a AMD X2 2.5Ghz in it, so plenty of CPU power to spare - CSS used to run fine on my old single core Opteron at similar speeds. (I miss that chip, it was superb!)
