8200 strange behaviour

Now check this out , i have this 8200 which is driving me crazy , it completes 12hours of prime95 but it will not complete any session of superpi , 1M or 32M or 8M or whatever

why is it doing it , its rock stable ([email protected]) , mems alright , has anyone got any idea?

If it does the same at stock its simply an os issue

an os or cpu issue? cause some weeks ago it was alright. what happened to the OS out of the sudden?

you dont have a rampage board by any chance? if so i might have an answer.

Hmm, this is just speculation but maybe prime95 tests CPU in a different way to superPi. Different instruction sets or something. prime95 is stable but superPi gets rounding errors or something.

Its just a suggestion and quite possibly far-fetched. I'd test at default clock speed and if it doesn't work at that probably a software problem.
