8210 poor text storage?

Ive started using my old 8210 again just because I like it so much, the only downside im finding is that it only seems to hold about 8 text messages. Is there any way to remedy this? Could it be the simcard?
 
i think 10s the limit

saves them to the sim card as it has no internal memory like any phone made after 1999 :P

its a bit too old school, youll have 2 keep deleting them i think :(
 
not sure... think there all about 10 as they use the same chips which havnt been updated for years

im sure i did have a sim that held 100... may have been a 3g one tho that would be no good to you :(
 
I've been through tons of phones. Then upgraded and sold/recycled/junked the old one. The only one I've kept, because I'm so fond of it, is the 8210. Awesome phone.

If nokia are listening, they could wipe the floor with the competition if they revamped it with a colour screen and some more storage etc.
 
Yer, the 8210 is an excellent phone, the text message storage is my only quam with it.

I would go to an 8310, but they look a bit odd with all the see through bits, like when someones customised it too much.
 
I miss my 8210, I used my one for 4 years before it gave up the ghost.

Those were the days of proper phones, where you could make a call without having to navigate the touch screens, menus after menus and when most cameras used film.

I had a budweiser cover on mine..result!

Oh and £9.99 pm line rental 12 month contracts :D
 
I've got two 8210s sat here. One Blue one Red from 2001. Awesome phones. Small, light but with a bit of weight to them which was nice.
