8320e to 3570K as a good budget upgrade?

if it overclocks to around 4.5ghz and you game with a decent graphics card then it will deffo be worth it.

Would mainly be for BF1. I have a 290 GPU with the though of a possible upgrade to a 480 depending on performance.

Long gone are the days of latest and greatest tech for me, am getting too old for gaming. :D

Though I might get Zen depending on how it performs.

Don't do that.
It's a pure sidegrade.

None of these are really worth the hassle: an 8320 to a 3570k and a 290 to a 480?

I would just wait until you have a bit more money saved.

^^ I think thats smart, you can take that forward. I'd love if zen was something interesting to take up or just triggered other possibilities

bf1 really isn't that demanding I was running it on all ultra but no aa at 1080p getting a solid 60 fps on an ancient i5 750 and 7950 gpu
