I currently have an 8350, overclocked to 4.5 ghz with 1.32v.

I am running it on air, so the temps get to around 59-62, which is pretty hot.

I was thinking about getting a H80I, as i believe the H100i will not fit in my case - https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-151-BX

If I got the H80I, how would you go about setting up the other fans? as in intake/exhaust etc.

Another question, if I did get the H100I, where would I fit it? It has 2x 120mm on top, but there is a parting in the middle so it's not completely together.

Or if you could recommend any others, hit me!

Thanks for the help!

In that case you can't, if it doesnt fit the case unless you can somehow connect it to the front. Dude with all due respect, waste of money. do you plan on pushing the cpu further?. if

If temps are bothering you, id grab a better air cooler. The AIO units don't perform on the proper watercooling level and cost a lot. Their only advantage over good air is that they are easy to mount in small cases but if you cant if it in your case, that point is moot.

If you are desperate, a ghetto mod will sort you out well enough if you have a steady hand and a dremel.

I was planning on getting it to 4.7, 4.8.

It's at 4.5 now, getting to around 60 degrees on a budget air cooler (was around £25).

But the noise is too much, and i'd like it to be cooler obviously.

What air coolers would you recommend?

How much room do you have between the CPU and the side panel?

Your current chip has a decent clock considering the low voltage. Hitting 4.7 or 4.8 should be easy with a better air cooler. are you hitting 60 on stress tests or every day usage?

If it's just when you run prime or whatever, then i would use your current cooler and clock higher until your every day usage temp is nearing the 60 mark.

I have mostly used custom water for my own builds in last few years and the builds i do for others usually involve huge cases which can accommodate Goliath monster coolers or just standard stock cooler (eeew). I don't know if you can fit any of the beast coolers in your case (deffo not the biggest ones).

I haven't got the best 8350 chip in the world but originally I had 4.7ghz on a h60 before the temps limited me. With a full custom loop I've only managed 4.8ghz as it needs 1.5v to get there. For 4.5ghz mine needs 1.4v so with your better chip you should get better results. Also unless you have a crosshair or the £200 gigabyte board if you're going above 4.5ghz you will need additional cooling on the Vrm heatsink as it will throttle the cpu when the vrm overheats. I'm using the m5a99fx pro r2.0 so it's one of the higher end amd boards.

You can easily go above 4.5 without active VRM cooling on many boards around the £120 mark. The UD7 and Crosshair boards are insane overkill for standard overclocking. 1.32v for 4.5Ghz is pretty low too, so unless you have a crap MSI/asrock board or the really budget Asus or Gigabyte boards, i am sure VRM cooling wont be too much of an issue.
