I'm now posting from the my beast :P

Tell you what, that akasa venom cpu cooler is HUGE and as always with CPU coolers, complete arse to install :P

Epic choice on the hard drive. Rebooted windows on mine, looked away and back and it was on the desktop again! XD

Nice 1, wish I could just pop to OcUK for my stuff, but well I'm a few hundred miles away. Gives me a chance to research MSI and the bios versions etc before it arrives tomorrow. Let me know which version your on please :)
I'm just going to stick with my Xigmatech Dark Knight cooler for now, maybe get the Corsair H60 if it gets good reviews.
Is it the black cavier drive that you say is fast above?

Yep, black caviar; same one as me :)

Not sure what version I'm on without rebooting. GUI Bios with mouse support. Has OC/Game options which is quite elite. Not done much yet in regards to tweaking hardware. Just getting software set up first.

Here are my temps for the past hour running a few desktop tasks. No gaming, using akasa venom cooler with artic silver 5 thermal compond (dont forget it wont have fully set in yet either)

Cool managed to get the Black caviar 1Tb for £35 :) in the clearance section, Had to save money somewhere to get the postage paid lol

Nice temps, you have there though, just default bios then yeah?

"Goods Shipped By: DPD Two Day Parcel - Eire & Scottish Islands."

Just seen that in the confirmation email. So yeah 48 hour service. I live in Aberdeen which is not in Eire and not an Island. My local depot have informed me that they only do a next day and 2 day service, not a before 10am etc. So at worst it should have been a next day service.

Not overly happy about it.

Hows your rig going? all smooth?

Yeah, been using it all day. No problems. Although just realised i only put one 4pin in the JSP1 slot to power the motherboard. Wondered why the PCI Network card was only getting 2 bars. Just put the extra 4pin in for 8pin power and now full bars :P

Deffo contact OcUK about that!

Sent them a Webnote, fingers crossed

Lol thought it was only me that did things like that, no damage done at least. I downloaded all the driver etc for the GD65, not sure what all I need, or do I need to install them all? Have made a usb3 Windows 7 installation pen drive with all the drivers, programs etc I need installed too.

Well after fighting with DPD they finally agreed to send out my stuff, it was due to be delivered tomorrow but they are going to do it tonight as I have another parcel that was getting delivered to me tonight anyway.

Still going smooth Fernick? You updated bios or done MSI auto updates or anything? Or still just as it arrived settings?

Still running smooth, just been playing Metro 2033 in max settings with Advanced PhysX and DirectX 11 with AAA and AF. WOW is all i have to say!

I have no software for windows in regards to MSI or Asus. Just drivers, not done any bios updates (another reason i got this board was due to not needing a bios update). Just make sure you download the latest drivers from MSI and Nvidias website :D

Being playing COD BO maxed out too. 120hz is teh shiz :D

Nice one glad to hear it's all gone smoothly. Black ops is just about all I play at the moment so not overly demanding I suppose. And erm my monitor is going to be my worst item by far, it's only 1440x900 and 70hz. That gets changed in 2 weeks though.

I have all the MSI drivers and Nvidia Drivers on my Windows 7 Installation pen drive, so when windows finally loads all that stuff is there waiting for me on the desktop :)

Yay everything arrived, installed and working fine :) Getting idle temp of 30 on average (20 degrees in room) at 4.4ghz not done any stress testing yet, still busy installing etc. Went from Bios v1.4 to v1.70 for the GD65, I was having problems with the marvell sata 6 ports but seems fine after update. My ram kept showing as 1330mhz instead of 1600mhz but that seems to be sorted now too. Except my RAMs command rate is 2T should I change that to 1T?

Thanks for your advice so far Fernick, Loving the Msi mobo and the asus gtx 480, not half as loud or hot as I was expecting.
