JUst saw one and a price but just thought I would share the specs even although they are basic!

8500GT DDR2 Version

Memory Clock Speed:- 800Mhz
Core Clock Speed:- 450Mhz
Memory:- 256MB (DDR2)
DX Supported:- DX10
Monitor Connectivity:- 1 x DVI-I 1 x VGA (15 pin D-Sub)
TV/HD Output:- 1 x S-Video HDTV

Sounds like it does HD stuff so again could be another affordable option for a HTPC

Price, around £50

8500GT DDR3
Version

Memory Clock Speed:- 700Mhz(effectively 1400Mhz)
Core Clock Speed:- 450Mhz
Memory:- 256MB(DDR3)
DX Supported:- DX10
Monitor Connectivity:- 1 x DVI-I 1 x VGA (15 pin D-Sub)
TV/HD Output:- 1 x S-Video HDTV

Less than £70

Not too bad! For £50, it looks like a 7600GS performing can't with DX10 support. Not bad at all...

Yeha I thought that as well especially the DDR2 part sounds eerily similar to the 7600GS

Also seen this but more like 70 notes at the places I've seen it and it has a memory clock speed of 700MHz.

Infact good spot :) It comes in 2 flavours! DDR2 and 3

Faster mem = more expensive option!

DDR2 Sports 1600Mhz effective on Mem

DDR3 Sports 2100Mhz effective on Mem

Ummn, what you on?

700mhz = DDR/DDRII/DDRIII-1400

Infact, DDR > DDRII > DDRIII > DDRIIII because of timings in terms of speed.

An X1950XTX is not 4ghz mem speed due to G-DDR4 and my X1900XTX is not 2400mhz mem speed due to G-DDR3, whoever typed that is an idiot tbh :(

Mmm?

Sure that isn't 800mhz effective on the DDR2 and 1400mhz effective on the DDR3?

Its GDDR as in Graphics double data rate. The number 2, 3 etc indicates nanosecond speeds steps.

http://www.samsung.com/Products/Semiconductor/GraphicsMemory/index.htm

Say a 8800GTX has GDDR3 1.1ns = 900Mhz (1/time for frequency) or apparent double of 1800Mhz

GDDR4 0.714ns = 1400Mhz or double rate 2800MHz

Those cards are proberbly

GDDR3 1.429ns = 700Mhz or double rate 1400Mhz
GDDR2 2.5ns = 400Mhz or double rate 800Mhz

XFX are nuts. You can overclock any standard card for the same amount and save yourself £50.
