This is what this lens is made for. Taken at f/1.8

For a change I had my Speedlight EX580 for this shot.

My daughter Joanne taken this lunchtime..:)

Would I be right in saying if the Aperture was a little larger the necklace would be in focus....just seems a shame it isn't besides that, lovely photo, well done.

would be interesting to see the difference though
played with the 85mm 1.8 recently.

try a black frame mate! I find black ones lend more well to the film style look!

That particular frame came free in a photo mags cover cd, photo is mine of course :p

The collar intrudes and is a little distracting.

2nd pic.
Could have done with some fill-in flash or a reflector to reduce the shadow across her face.
