85mm f/1.2

This is what this lens is made for. Taken at f/1.8

For a change I had my Speedlight EX580 for this shot.

My daughter Joanne taken this lunchtime..

Would I be right in saying if the Aperture was a little larger the necklace would be in focus....just seems a shame it isn't besides that, lovely photo, well done.

the DOF quite works for me
would be interesting to see the difference though
played with the 85mm 1.8 recently.

The filmstrip is crap I admit but can't see a lot wrong with the frame in the 1st shot..

We all have our preferences I agree..

try a black frame mate! I find black ones lend more well to the film style look!

That particular frame came free in a photo mags cover cd, photo is mine of course

1st pic.
The collar intrudes and is a little distracting.

2nd pic.
Could have done with some fill-in flash or a reflector to reduce the shadow across her face.
