hi guys just got the abv card in a new rig and was wondering is there much of an improvement to the x800xtpe that i had b4 ?

8600GS is a DDR2 version of the 8600GT, the GT is slightly quicker to a good 10-20fps quicker than the X800XT PE, the GS should be around the same speed as the X800 you had, like the GT but when things get memory intensive (aa, high res, high quality) it will fall flat on its face.
