Anyone actually got one of these? I'm wondering because I've seen reviews showing the GT as about 10% slower than an X1950Pro, and other's showing it as outperformed by a 7600GT?!

Just wondering what people's actual opinions of them are.

Cheers

P.S Please don't link to that video with the kid playing Quake 4 :P His view doesn't count.

From what I can tell they ain't worth money unless you like watching movies.

Better off with a 8800GTS, 1950 or 7600GT.

They are crap, x1950pro is better, or you could put the little extra and get the 320mb GTS wich will totally destroy them, and the x1950pro. :)

Theres supposed to be a 256bit 512mb 8600 GTS coming out first week of June though, so could wait to see what thats like if you dont want to spend the extra on the 8800 GTS.

I got an overclocked 7900GS that points and laughs at the 8600 range on fps.

The 8600's are only 128bit at the moment.

Dipsticks!!!!!

Ah sorry think I confused you all, I don't want one for my PC I already got a GTS, just wondered people's opinions on them.

However seeing those overclocking results makes it quite tempting to try as my first VModded card.

Did quite a bit of testing with MSI's passive 8600GT and it was only a couple of percent behind an x1950Pro performance when overclocked. When you SLI two of them they arn't far behind 8800GTS 320mb performance either.
