8600GTS Overclocks and 3DMark06 scores

Just grabbed a cheap (and I mean cheap - £10) 8600GTS (256MB), and was wondering what clocks, and what scores I should be looking at for this card coupled with an X2 3800+ (939), and 1GB of PC3700 DDR.

Bargain card of the century tbh

Yep, bought with an "unknown fault", turned out to be a loose resistor that needed re-soldering.

I'd say quite a bit more than that, given that my X1800 got 5.2k.

TBH I'd stick it on the 'Bay and make an easy fifty quid

i have one 8600gts in my database. not a bad score really...

Definately not selling it on, as its a good upgrade over the 6600GT that was in my 2nd rig.

Shame I won't see anywhere near that score, my 3800+ doesn't overclock well
