8770K max turbo boost question

Hi guys how are you?

I`m planning to buy a 8770k , today i have a 4770k running at 4.6

To use the 8770k at the 4.7 that is the max turbo boost all the time do i need to change anything? Or i just need to set the mult to 47 and do not touch anything else?

So to get 4.7 atb all cores just set the mult to 47 right?

Do you think worth a change from my current 4770k @ 4.6 and 1080TI @ 2050 to a 8770k? I use for gaming 90% of the time

Thanks guys, i think i can wait one more year, here in Brazil the price is really high, the 8700k costs something about 600$ just the CPU !!!! you have to include the MB, the memos......

You aren't going to miss out on much by waiting a year, your CPU is still more than capable in current games, and by then you'll have the proper Zen 2 Ryzen and new Intel CPU's to choose from.
