8770K waterblock?

So I've worked out for myself that the EK waterblock i currently have will work on my new 8700k but I wasn't sure if I should be using the same jet insert for the 1150 chips or the one for the 2011 chips. I think the 1151 6c is a bigger chip so should you change it to the jet for the bigger 2011 or won't it make any difference?

I'm not sure if that makes sense.

Either EK hasn't updated the manual or it has remained the same for Coffeelake as it still recommends Insert 1 and Jetplate 2. Try dropping them a email and see if that is still their recommendation.

Thanks PastyMuncher. I decided to just go with it and see what happened. Everything seems to be okay although I couldn't find my good tim so just used some MX4 I did manage to find. Temps could be better but it's certainly nothing to worry about. I just need to do some proper testing now.
