I sit worth keeping a 8800 gt in with my 5870 for physx? I know loads of games use physx

I think you need atleast a 9800, the only game that I know that use physx is batman.

While Physx may look slighlty better, it is only available in a few games, Just Cause 2, Batman and Mafia 2 are the only ones I can think of, the effects in JC2 aren't special either.

You also got to remember there's a big performance loss even with a dedicated Physx card. But yes if you already have an 8800GT then you might as well keep it for Physx if you know how to with the ATi card and no you don't 'need at least a 9800'.

Trying not to point out the obvious but the 8800GT and 9800GT are the same card, albeit with minor differences. PhysX is very much a case of suck it and see. Give it a whirl, whats the worst that can happen?

Not worth the time, effort and extra electricity the 8800 uses, sell it

Not worth it imo. Unless you're a hardcore fan of batman or just cause.
