Anyone know ware I could get drivers for the BFG geforce 8800 GTX that work with windows vista ultimate final (the RTM version)...?

There are none :(

Still can't believe a card marketed at Vista and DX10 does not have drivers for X64 and Vista at launch.

Nvidia will just tell you that Vista is not launched yet and therefore we have no grounds for complaint... but my view that its pathetic.

A google shows various forums saying that they are expected in a few days. Finger crossed because i am 90% vista now and feeling very hard done by

ive just install vista too, no drivers, no gaming for a few days until hopefully they release vista drivers in a few days......

Could really do with my 7950 GX2 now :)

here's to hoping.

Drivers to support a brand new gpu on a beta OS, that doesnt NEED to be supported.

Dont use beta software and expect support and when you dont get any feel 'very hard done by'

Sorry if my post seems offensive, nvidia dont need to do anything of the sort though, at least they are bothering with beta drivers still.

Im sure there will be a driver out soon, the 8800 has just come out, and nvidia do supply vista drivers for other cards up to the latest 7950.

You are quite right, of course. Its only that the card is descripbed as Vista compatable and DX10... but we can't prove that. They must know it works otherwise they cant make those claims. Beta drivers for a Beta OS on launch would have been a sensible move? Am I wrong?

Vista is hitting the market soon, good time for nvidia to get the drivers sorted for a £500 video card.

I've heard they are working on the vista drivers, should be out very soon from what I gather (within the next week). :)

Not offensive just misinformed, OEM's and Corporates get their hands on Vista in the next couple of weeks, the fact the isn't even a beta driver for the 8800 is pretty poor IMHO.

Vista is no longer a BETA OS, its release is imminet to a huge group of users.
