8800 gs 640 mb power

Im about to purchase a EVGA 8800 gs 640 mb graphics card, and right now I have a Tagan TG480-U01 480W ATX2.0 SLi Compliant Silent PSU.

I was wondering if there are any dangers in running this, im not too experienced with computers but on the gfx card page it says minimum 500 watt.

I just dont have the money right now for a new psu as well. so could i damage the card in any way if I go through with this?

I think your PSU will be fine, but that depends on what the rest of your spec is.
