I've been saving up for ages to buy a new gfx card and following all you guys recommendations, it seemed that the best card in my price range (sub £100) was the 8800 GT.

Finally this week I have the money, but OcUK seemed to have stopped selling them! I'm mortified. Can you guys suggest where I might find one? The ones on ebay seem to be selling for silly money, compared to the price OcUK have been selling them recently.

Or alternatively suggest a decent replacement?

I currently have a 6800 GT and 1280x1024 TFT, if that helps. It struggles at playing Company of Heroes at any decent res and i'd like to play CoD4 at higher settings too.

The 8800GT is now the 9800GT. It's exactly the same card except rebranded, and now has the ability to Tri-SLI.

Not sure on price though.
 
Also you will find that a lot of the new 9800GT's are 55nm (vs 65nm on the 8800GT), so clock rather well.

I just purchased the 9800 in the link. With VAT and postage it came to £1 over my total, which I think I can live with :)
