8800 GTS 320MB SLI Issues!

Hi All,

Just Installed 2 of these cards, XFX 8800 GTS 320MB. Completed a fresh install of XP pro, installed all drivers and updates, and was hopin to get down to some benchin and overclocking of the cards, but just running 3DMark06 the image is torn all over the place. I have tried driver versions 97.92 and 97.44. Also same in 3DMark05. Very dissapointing.

Any Ideas?

What PSU are you using?

Have you tried each card on its own?

Tearing normally occurs when the frame rate is about your monitor's refresh rate

List of things to do:

Enable vsync and tripplebuffering
reseat the cards and the sli bridge
make sure your psu is capable of dishing out power

You don't enable v-sync when yer benching, the tearings normal.

Thanks for the help, I'm only using a Tagan 2 Force 580, however, before putting it all together, I contacted tagan and was told it is absolutely fine for my setup.

I will try each card on its own and let u know what happens.

FYI:

When tested individually, only one card shows tearing. RMA time! It still suprises me how many Brand New PC Components turn up faulty.
