8800 GTS Faulty

Hi just got my card today , put it into my machine

and when I get to the post screen , the letters are all corrupted and look like chinese characters.

windows logo is the same.

put my old card in and all is fine again..

I was wondering If OcUK do a swap out service ? does anyone know

Post your system specs including power supply.

I have that with an ati 9800 xt only used to happen now and then
very rare a reboot and was gone.

They'll probably want to test it themselves before sending you a new one, although you shouldn't have anything to worry about as it deffo looks like a borked card so should be replaced straight away (from what I gather, the turnaround time normally takes about a week).

Just out of curiosity is there any chance you can upload a video of CS Source, or any of the other game that you have installed, and why have you still got catalyst installers on your desktop?

that was just the install package on my desktop , id done a full unistall before taking the video.

and as you can see from the bios page it negates driver issues
