8800 GTX artifacts.

I have an OcUK 8800GTX

Recently (the last few weeks) I have been developing artifacts in games (mostly WoW) the system is not OC'd and it appears to be running normal temps.

Can anyone tell me what the normal running temps are for the 8800GTX?

My GTX used to idle at around 60-62 and peak at around 85 under full load.

In my sig, i have it overclocked- and in games like CSS is does begin to artifact after about 1hr, in cod4 it artificats in the same amount of time but at stock!!

something isnt quite right with my gtx either, so Im almost at the same point as you are.. lol

to much hassle with RMA, I did the same with a Raptor a while back and OC weren't particulary speedy...


sometimes I just wish I got a PS3 and not bothered with all this pc stuff lol , nvm. learn by our mistakes

I might have to buy another to cover me for the time and then either sell the RMA or run them in SLI. /le sigh
