8800 GTX driver problems

Any body getting BSOD's with their 8800 GTX cards, nv4_disp.dll ???

Read on a few other forums about problems. People have tried all O/S's and different PSU's etc... but still same probs.

Looks like drivers?!?!?

On my 4th set of drivers and never had that, happened years ago and an OS re-instal cured it.

On some beta drivers at the moment.

Also running memtest and gonna flash the bios.

Just played a game for ages and its fine, then it isnt, grrrrrrrrrr.

Maybe its other drivers or software thats causing the issue, its not unusual for sound card drivers to cause issues.

Used to happen to me on the official 97.92's, and the official 97.94's, well known problem apparently, but its only supposed to happen on the EVGA motherboard, but ive got a DS4, and it used to happen to my mate with an Asus P5B, never had it on the beta 101.02's (as they fixed the problem), and never had it on the new 158.22's yet either (touches wood).

Id say it is the Nvidia drivers, as i was still getting it even after a format.

never had any of that useing the intel 775 chipset with any driver ive used on the 8800gtx. 3.6g core2duo 400fsb never one crash! or driver prob.

just run memtest and have 2 duff sticks of memory, doh. Gonna have to send thost back!
