Hi,

Just a quick question. I just ordered a 8800Gtx because it was cheap.
Will my corsair HX520W power it ok? i really hope so because it was quite expensive at the time when i got it and i can't really afford a new psu.

I will be running 2sata hd's, E3750, 4gig ram, 2 drives and some case fans along with the 8800. Its been fine for ages with a x1950 xt btw.

Thanks for replys

arh thats great, i was thinking whether it would make overclocking less likely too. i am presuming that overclocking uses more power. is that right? my E6750 is already at 3.8ghz so maybe uses more power as well. but as long as it will run at stocks tht'll be great. thanks for the fast replies guys.

I hope this new card will be fun too :)

should be fine, ive seen a quad + gtx on that psu

That's all fine and dandy that you've seen a Quad core CPU and a GTX balancing on an unused PSU but I think the OP is wanting to know if it will run his system????.

(:p I'm being thuper therious here (joking))
