I think theres confusion over power sockets (two 6 pin) required to power the bugger and the two slots it takes up on your rear I/O panel (one of which is due to the fan and size of the bugger)?
 
No confusion, the OP's question was perfectly clear and Rhaos answered it.

IIRC, the PCI-E socket itself can supply 75W as can each additional connection so cards between 75 and 150W need one PCI-E power connection whilst cards above 150W need two.
