You would need to volt mod them to be bothered with temps, mine never go above 50C full load.

that is indeed big, thats far bigger than and CPU/GPU core i have ever seen, wonder how big R600 core will be! :eek:

based on rumblings at various places, the next gen cores will be tiny... and there will be a multitude of them too.

ATi "apparently" are planning on using several small GPU`s in Cell`s for R700 much easier to manufacture, easier to cool. 16 mini GPU`s for top of the range, 12 GPU`s then 8 then 4. whilst it does make sense and is an appealing idea, id still take it with a little pinch of salt for now. Plus R700 is a good 18 to 24 months away

You'd have to be nuts to try that with a working card, those SMD look really close to the epoxy.

What a beautiful country Singapore is. Would recommend any of you who haven't visited singapore yet to go and have a nice tour. Basically should go for a tour in Hong Kong and Singapore.
