Hi yall...
I have a couple questions...
I recently Upgrade my 8800 ultra with a second loop of my WCS. (MCP 355 18w pump, mcw-r 60 vga block, dtek uni-sink for the vga-rams and the fusion block of the asus maximus se on the same loop. nothing more, for my cpu I have another loop.)

Now I want to do some benchs using 3dmark 06, my last try hit 13.5k with the ultra on stock cooler and stock core/shader, Q6600 @ 3.2ghz. Now I want to do 3.4ghz and Overclock my ultra in order to get 15k, do you guys think this is posible?

my ultra is idle at 43c to 46c (load temp not sure, but not much I think, I have no time to check i was bussy playing :D I will get this data later).

What is the safe core/shader/mem zone for my MSI 8800 ultra OC edition (this are my "stock" cores: 660/1500/2300) ?

how far does people with ultras in water go? how do I use volt mod? is this practical?

thanks...

Updated* Load temp in crysis is 52c MAX....

684, 1500, 2322 is what my ultra is set to on water. I am not familiar with a tool that can overclock the stream proccessors above 1500. Other people maybe able to help more.

My XFX Ultra XXX edition came from the factory clocked at 675/1667/2300 (Core/shader/ram) on std air cooler !!

Rivatuner allows clocks higher than this.

I can get near 17k with my 8800 GTX. So 15k should be easy enough on an Ultra.

760/1984/1105. Thats with the GPU volt mod. Loads of guides on XS for the Ultra mods you can do.
