All I see is a lot of pics that all look far better than when I played FEAR on my old 9600xt and 6800gx!!

So while the higher settings produce noticably better images than I get on my old cards - the only difference I can see between the images posted, is the brightness/gamma settings used?!?!

Does oblivion look good at 19x12 on a 30"? would have thought scaling etc might cause a problem.

I know that running anything less than 19x12 on this 17" just ruins the game.

Scaling is good on the 3007, 1920x1200 is absolutely fine but thankfully I never have to run anything at it anyway.

I'm a pilot for those asking.

u lucky man i play il2 sturm and fs2004 and i love that, if i had my life over again i would try to get a pilots licence

Because the shots that have been taken don't really show the differences. If you get someone with another card to take a shot identical to my 2 oblivion screens you will clearly see the difference on the walkway.

am I the only one who thinks oblivion looks crap? vertex lighting only with the odd projected shadow but thats it, textures that repeat 20 odd times across a surface, terrain that looks like it was painted by a child... etc. etc. the early screenshots of it looked great even without proper shadows/lighting, but the retail game just looks ghey...

Quite frankly I'm amazed no one can see the difference in the final picture, espeically compared with the first pic something about the steel girder details, in fact everything in the background just looks better, more in focus and less jaggy than the other two!

Also who plays fear with that much extra brightness (middle shot), c'mon own up - whose the wuss

lol tis I - only as I keep on saying grrrrrrrrrrrrr it LOOKs like the first shot on my monitor only comes out that bright in screenshots...
