Hi!I just bought a Logitech G25 steering wheel so I can play GTR2 and TDU games with realistic gears :D

Heres the deal :
I play 1920x1200 and I like to play lots of games (who doesnt? ) and I like the highest settings I can play at :) so I was thinking of getting a 8800 GTS or GTX and have been trying to hold off but it is really hard and I want one so bad! I can get 1920x1200 on TDU at high detail without AA or HDR and a 8800 could probably get them :) ya can see the jaggies! I'll be getting Crysis when it comes out and I was wondering would a GTS be fine? The GTX is 100 quid dearer  I'll end up buying one when crysis comes out if I don't get it now

Do you think my PSU would cope? I run a X1800XT just now which was rated at 100W power usage

Hi mate,

The GTX is better at high res with AA/AF, but the GTS is still very good aswell,
and both will play crysis but im not sure on how much AA/AF and at what res,

but if you got the GTX you will need a new PSU, not to sure with the GTS but i think you may need PSU for that to (but im not sure).

I think I'll get a 8800GTS 320MB when they come out if I can sell my X1800XT :D then it'll not cost me much :) and be happy with it until next year earliest :)

If you have the money get the GTX. If you wantto save money, clock a GTS and it will be very similar. There is not a large gap between the cards. I play oblivion, the system killing game at 1680x1050/max settings/HDR/16af/16aa and still swing 30-50fps outside an 100+ inside (at times).

On my GTS. The 8800's are godly.
