8800GS bios update to work on via chipset

I've just got an XpertVision 8800GS and wanted to run in on my office workstation for F@H.

But the P5VD2-X mobo I have is a Via chip set (PT890-8237) with a PCI-E 1a slot and it would seam thats the reason that the pc will not boot with this card.

Card runs fine in other work pc's btw so it's not that.
it's a 550w psu with a 6pin so it's not that.
Updated the mobo bios (308) but still no joy.

Google points me at flashing the 8800gs bios but XpertVision has no bios section so need a bit of help.

What bios flash utility should I use - NVflash/other?
And where will i find a bios file?

Any help would be most welcome

Can anyone help with this - I have sourced a xfx 8800gs bios but don't know if it's pre or post the fix - will give it a good and see what happens. Via being very unhelpful
