8800GT 512 replacment

Hola,
I need a cheap card to replace my borked 8800GT 512, I have the PC in my sig so nothing super powerful or its going to be bottle necked.

The card you linked to isnt listed but a 5750 would be a slight upgrade

Well, in that case I'll answer your other question.

Even the 5670 is fair bit slower than the 8800GT, so the 5570 would be even slower.

If you only have around £50 to spare try have a look for a second hand 5770, it will be a step up from your 8800GT and has DX11 too.

Hate to say this, but you simply ain't gonna get a new card as fast as 8800GT for £50. You can however get a new 9800GT 512MB (basically same as 8800GT 512MB) for around £65 if you look around.

If you can afford more, then look at either the 5750 1GB at £75:

5830 at that price...no brainer....cough up the extra and it'll last you a long time and will game quite well if needed
