8800GT Digital Problem

My 8800GT won't output a digital signal properly to my monitor, It works fine over VGA and my PS3 works fine over HDMI but the monitor won't display anything when connected to the PC via DVI or HDMI. The LED on the monitor is blue so it's receiving a signal but the whole screen is black, if I remove the cable from the PC the LED turns red and displays a no input message.

I've tried different drivers but I don't think that's the problem as I get no display at all, even in the BIOS and the only way to get it to display anything is if I use VGA. It was working fine until I put Vista into Sleep last night but it doesn't seem to be a Vista problem as I can't even see the post screen.

Have you tried the DVI cable in the other DVI port on the back of your 8800GT?

Yep I tried both.

I managed to fix it, I tried reseating the card which didn't work, they I reset the CMOS which also didn't work but then I ran the hdmi teh my card to my AMP and then the hdmi out on my amp to the hdmi in on my monitor and it worked, then I put the hdmi from my pc directly into the hdmi on my monitor and it worked again.
