Hey,

Been running COD4 at all high settings on a 15" monitor with about 125fps.(1024*768)

Got a 22" monitor for christmas, is it wise to go up to 1680 resolution? When i did my game seemed a little jumpy, and fps was often red ( 50's - 60's )

50-60 is fine, RED in Fraps was Video Capture AFAIR, you been capturing a Vid while using the FPS counter ?

Nope, when you have FPS showing in COD4, it goes red under 60ish.

Well, I play COD4 at 10fps with my current set up... Woot intergrated 6100LE, cheap 1gb ram, motherboard AND to top it all off. AMD Dual-Core 3600+ and its just about playable.

Dont Worry, currently got q6600, 2GB OCZ RAM, OCZ 600w PSU but no Graphics card and since the Motherboard I have has no input for a monitor I can do nothing..

So I'd love to currently have 60fps
