I currently have a 8800GT, i may be able to get hold of a second one cheap, like £70-80. But, is it worth it ? money and performance wise, my current rig hasn't got an sli mobo nore a sli supporting psu, so i'd need to purchase both of these.

Could you spec me a cheap ish sli mobo ( 775 ( got an e2200)) and an sli supporting psu ? Please.

Another route would be a 4800 series card, which will obviously be a hella lot cheaper ...

Abit Ip35e but im gonna be changing it anyway soon as its broken i think .. so its either a £50 mobo that'll do the job or wait a bit and go for a sli mobo...

If youre mobo is dead, i would get an intel board to replace it. Maybe a p35 blood iron or a p45 p5q. On the graphics side tho i would go for a 4850 if you can afford it. Psu i would go for a corsair hx series. I take it youre 8800gt no longer cuts it for you?

Definitely get a 4850/4870 :)

I would recommend the 4870 as it would be a nice upgrade from the 8800GT :)

But whatever you do dont get another 8800gt you may aswell get something from thr 4800 series :)

Agree with the 4870 comments but not 4850 from a 8800 GT.

But when 2 8800 GT's work well in the right games, it can surpass a 4870, 4870 would be more consistent in all games however.
