lol I dunno what they are worth but I'm dying to find out. In my computer room I have no computer and a ton of games ready to be installed, I asked OcUK today to change my order from the EVGA SC to a BFG OC2 in hopes I can get this card faster. Although now that I've done this the EVGA SC's will land tomorrow I'm sure.
 
hmm, if I put my zotac 8800gt oc on ebay reckon I could get a "pretty penny" for it? enough to sit by on a cheapo card and wait for the new nvidia cards to come out?

reckon you'd get £200 + easily

Thing is why are ocuk taking fresh orders for stock that didn't exist and was bookmarked for pre orders ?
cannot see any other explanation as to why my card wasn't dispatched today very naughty that will find out tomorrow i am sure when i phone up to cancel my order.

By the time you have a buyer all etailers will have good levels of stock.

Just watched an inno3d sell for 195 inc p&p and a geforce for 180 inc p&p so no dont think youd make much at all tbh.
 
Wouldn't be so sure stock levels were supposed to be high 2 weeks ago and there's no eta or confirmed rock solid dates anywhere.
 
if I put it on a 1day listing it may sell but then again these cards kick butt and Crytek + nvidia said a crysis patch and new drivers will improve performance even more!

Can someone clarify what Gibbo means here. I'm a noob to these boards.When he says:

'when we do get enough to clear the backorders they are spotted in stock and sell very quickly'

Does this mean they are going out to the people who last purchased them eg. those of us who snapped up the BFG OCs today, and therefore that they are not going to those who preordered days or weeks earlier?

Last I heard from BFG is they hope to get 500 OC and 500 OC2 into ourselves by end of next week which will clear backlog of OC and just about clear backlog on OC2.

We might see some OC2 this week, but only 100pc but that is yet unconfirmed.

By end of next week things should be looking much better and come middle of December we hope to have nearly all products freely available and at more aggressive prices.

The website now says 23/11/07, i wish they would not say these dates if its not confirmed, just gets peoples hopes up.

I think he means the backlog is cleared and there are a few available and they are snapped up by customers who spot them immediately off the website. There just isn't enough coming in to sustain stock levels.

Mine is arriving tomorrow according to citylink woo!!! :)
 
That cannot be true as some of us snapped up the bfg cards which were showing in stock lunchtime today and got none dispatched it means they didn't have them in stock.Should clear the preorders then put them in stock as a separate stock i am thinking now that isn't the case.

Because they didn't have the stock in same as my case.
Not sure but by law might be able to claim the next day delivery cost back ? as they have broken the contract ? i dont recall seeing anything about up to 3 working days on my purchase page all i saw was wednesday as delivery date.
 
Did ANYONE recieve there preorded card on the 16th from here.....i mean theres no update to wether any have even come in ... ? i preorded my EVGA Superclocked crysis one on the 10th, must have been one of the first on the preorder list, what dya think the chances of mine comin in on the ETA-23rd.... i know if they come on on the 23rd i wont recieve it till monday 26th anyway.

Hi there

You are jumping to a conclusion because your order was not shipped. We have a huge backlog of orders at the moment, which means that we have 8800 GT's still in our warehouse but they are assigned to orders such as yourself which will ship tomorrow.

Our website only shows freely available stock, if we actually showed the stock we had onsite in the warehouse it would cause huge issues. At the moment we have BFG, OcUK and Gainward 8800 GT's in stock but they all have orders assigned to them and as such they are not available to order as they are already taken by orders which we have not shipped yet due to backlog as in todays case or the stock is set aside for system builds or testing.

So website stock levels go down as orders are placed online. If we operated a system where website level did not go down until product was shipped then we'd always end up overselling, especially on weekends as no shipping happens then. I hope that makes sense!

HI there

No Crysis bundles have arrived yet at all. EVGA dragging their feet. :(

We've had a small amount of superclocks without the game, but thats it.
