8800GT Stock?

Great update,
however, how many of these are pre-sold.
Do we assume that this influx of cards will not clear many backorders.
I have had an EVGA SC on order for a week, what are my chances of being one of the 100 or so arriving ??

Ditto - I'd like to know the answer for that as well.
I originally ordered an EVGA superclocked Crysis edition card, and it originlly said they would come into stock on the 16/11/07
However it was then shifted back to 23/11/07, and when I sent a webnote they said they would be arriving on the 23rd.
However I just checked and now it says not until 30/11/07
Does this mean that all the ones for the 23rd have been allocated to preorder people and so I might still get mine? Or is it that EVGA are still having problems? If I want to change my order to a different (and cheaper) model, how do I go about doing this?

have to laugh at this , nvidia pulled a blinder with this marketing stragey to hurt ati.how many have held of buying ati card while waiting for a gt.bet they knew there was no way they could realease cards in time for order but would just stick some bait out for us all to stop the middle range men going ati.bit naff for us wanting the gt now but they have pulled a fast one quite sweetly.

We have 307 of those pre-sold, so a few left over which will no doubt not last very long once the website shows in stock status.
The OC we will have a lot more left over spare, so those should hopefully last in stock a little while longer.
Cheers for the update, but the BFGs now next week? Not impressed with how the date on those has consistently slipped since they were meant to be here last week
Same here.. was 16th.. then 19th..20th..23rd .. now 25th..
Cancel order and wait to see what arrives I think
Although to be fair to OCUK they cannot control what their suppliers and distributors tell them of course, but I would be excercising caution on all dates given past performance!

then I sent another one once I saw the Zotac's coming in this week asking for that preferably over the BFG.
Do you know approximately what one I may receive first

I have sent a webnote asking for the Zotac to be shipped to me - ONLY IF the Zotac really do arrive tomorrow AND I make it to bag one of the 40 arriving.
I sent the webnote before Gibbo posted saying that of the 400 BFG OC2 307 were on pre-order (which means that I have actually made it to bag a BFG OC2 from the coming shipment).
Obviously I wouldn't want my BFG OC2 to be cancelled if I get only a pre-order on the Zotac!

I'm sensing that by the time my webnote gets dealt with, all the 40 zotacs arriving tomorrow would be grabbed up and allocated on preorder...

Just placed my order, shame I cant go and collect it on Saturday as I live 30mins away
I asked if the Zotac had all been allocated and thankfully they had'nt but he did confirm they were having loads of enquiries about them.

Not surprised, check out some of the reviews, in one of them, the Zotac Amp out performs an 8800GTX in most tests, only beaten (by a few fps) at the high rez's + AA, etc. Cracking card.

Also they are the only 8800GT ocuk is selling at normal rrp price.
All the rest are been sold at a premium.
Makes the Zotac with 3 year warranty and 700/1650/2000 pre-oc specs look a bargain plus if I remember correctly you even get a game!
