8800GT Stock?

Also they are the only 8800GT ocuk is selling at normal rrp price.

All the rest are been sold at a premium
.

Makes the Zotac with 3 year warranty and 700/1650/2000 pre-oc specs look a bargain plus if I remember correctly you even get a game!

Not sure about that. At £199 it's no cheaper than any of the other pre-oc'd cards

60x Asus arriving possibly this week or next week!
100x PNY due Friday/Monday
1000x OcUK due by end of next week! (800 pre-sold!!!)

Zotacs are now ETA: 26/11/07

I wonder if that is because thay are now all pre sold or if they have had their delivary date changed again?

It's amazing to think that if they sell all of those cards immediately which of course they will it is about £250,000 worth

No wonder Gibbo has an M3 in his sig

I called OcUK about an hour ago (to change something else in my order) and was told they are expecting a shipment of the Zotac boards tomorrow, and they are not all already allocated to pre-order, so you may be able to get in on it now.

I'm waiting on a BFG OC2 which should also arrive friday or monday...

Not sure about that. At £199 it's no cheaper than any of the other pre-oc'd cards

Zotac's top end cards are always dearer than most.

Zotac 660 oc £176
Zotac Amp £199

If Zotac did a vanilla card it would only be £150.

That's my point about it been the only card at "normal" rrp.

Look at the EVGA and BFG oc cards.

BFG 675 £199
EVGA 650 £194

EVGA have a 675 and a 700 card out as well although not yet stocked at ocuk. Looking at the 650 price, the 675 would be £214 and the 700 card would be £235

Without listing other sites prices my point is the cards should be £150 for a vanilla card (£140 for a brand nobody heard off card), £175 for a mid oc'd card and £200 for the high end top oc'd cards.

The AMP and I've now noticed, the Asus are the only two cards priced about right atm. I mean look at the Gigabyte and Leadtek cards. STock speeds but £188  £11 more the the fastest card GT you can buy seems like a good deal to me.

Also, it has been reported that the Zotac AMP cards do not use the same memory chips as the other GT cards. Not sure how true this is but it has been given the reason as to the delay in any appearing as I beleive these will be the first uk stock of them.

be nice to know how many of the cards coming in have been allocated, might save some of this chopping and changing? And allow those of us still to place an order figure out which ones we have a chance of getting any time soon.
