8800GT Stock?

i ordered on the 30th and am still waiting:confused:

also, if adding a third party cooler will it void the step-up with evga and what temps do you get?

My order status is still 'in the warehouse queue'......... :(

And nothing got changed on the site with regards to BFG - they're still all on pre-order.

Only the Gainwards changed - you sure the OcUK representative said BFG and not Gainward?
 
Damn I'm tempted to take a Gainward right now, had my finger over the 'buy' button twice now. I know it would be sensible to wait until early December but its soooooo tempting!
 
Well I got an email this lunchtime from ocuk saying bfg have arrived but not enough to fulfill all the pre-orders :eek:

So depending on when you ordered your bfg, you might get it tomorrow or you might still be waiting.

It also said that EVGA cards are still a week off at least (it was these I was asking about specifically and secondly whether they were getting any 8800GT's in)
 
I just called them and asked if the BFGs were in and if I'd get my order shipped.

No. Apparently they are due in today or later but as of now they have none in.

So I changed my order and got the last Gainward GT :D

Should be leaving OCUK today :D Weee!

Well, my order's dated 8th November. I'm hoping I'd get mine with the first batch, whether the first batch has in fact arrived or not...

Good man, afterall its the same card as all the others, just has a Gainward sticker on it instead. :D

just put the stock cooler back on if you have to rma it or step up, as for temps, I am using the stock cooler for now, after setting up rivatuner fan profiles I idle at about 51-52@40% fan speed and 71 is the highest I have seen it under load, I have an 80% fan speed kick in when I hit 70 degrees.
