webnote's are touch and go at the minute due to the huge backlog of orders and staff being rushed off their feet, you might be waiting more then 24hrs for a response.

you'd be better off calling them ;)
 
Ah well.. looks like the Zotac AMPs are overdue as my order has not changed. Unless I missed the first 40 orders.. don't think so as I ordered on 22nd, not long after they appeared.

I could have had an OC2 of course, but decided to cancel that one.

HI there

Zotac's have just turned up, so no chance of those shipping tonight I am afraid but I shall make sure we get those all out tomorrow.

if you ordered on the 22nd you have no chance of recieving one of the 40 that are arriving.

My tracking number didn;t work until next morning and then should it had been picked up the night before and was on the van for delivery that day
 
As these are starting to arrive in greater numbers now how long do you think it will be until the price drops down to RRP?

I need a new card but I can wait a week or so if a price drop is coming.
 
I'm such an idiot! I called to try and change my order on Friday and it went to answering machine so I hung up after it said "check the website or call our returns line". I called again today and stayed on the line for some reason and it connected me! Grrrr!

Well, changed my order to a Zotac. I don't suppose I'll get one of the order that came in tonight? When will the next batch be in? This week?

Quite a while as these cards are in such demand 'still', and very few places have stock available, and when they are in stock they sellout within hours.

If you want a card this side of xmas you will have to pay the premium i'm afraid.

It may be Jan - Feb before we see any kind of price drop.

Ah superb to see my pre-order on the 8th of November has been completely left by the wayside today after a considerable wait. Being assured it will be shipped today and that the guys are working overtime to ensure the order goes out, despite people in this thread having ordered the BFG OC2 on FRIDAY and having their orders shipped. I thought it would have been fairly logical to deal with those waiting the longest to have their orders dealt with first. Regardless it seems like I'll be waiting even longer with it coming up to 7pm and I wouldn't expect many people to be working this late, I just feel pretty shafted that the immediate orders that came in today have taken precedence, and treat the longest waiters like outcasts. I can't help but feel a little miffed and unfairly mugged off.
 
ive had a whole system in the que waiting for the the 8800GT OC2 to come in stock. would the parts that have been held up while waiting fo rthe GT to come be put aside? i really hope so or i could be waiting forever

That indeed would give me closure if it hadn't been a full hour ago. I tried calling OcUK at 5:30 on the dot but they redirected their phone lines to the automated message seconds before as I checked the progress of my order as I left work. Seemingly it's the same as I left it 19 days ago. But thanks for the update fross, when did you pre-order out of interest?
