hi i got a inno3d 8800gt 512mb and i put it in my Aopen i945GMm-HL and i forgot to put the pcie power supply on to it and i turned it on and it had this beeeeeeepp sound so i turnt it off and plug in the pcie power, when i booted it up again i heard the beep from mobo so it posted okay but no signal was going to my monitor! whats going on? do you think i damaged the graphics card? or is it becuase my mobo cant handle it? if so i was planning to buy a new mobo anywayz

No you're unlikely to have damaged it, recheck all the connections, reset your CMOS and try again.

reseted the cmos but still nothing can it be the mobo? i mean it aint exactly a very good mobo...

btw what connections should it have? just the one with the slot and the pcie power supply right?

i found out whats wrong now the motherboard it self had jumpers near the 16x pcie slot which needs to be removed for it to work. i thought i removed them all where theres a mini choke looking like thing i noticed was where a jumper was supose to be on the digram. removing it allowed it to work btw do i download the latest driver from nvidia? or geforce? or inno3d?
