Nope! There were some issues when they launched in Nov. But after FW174.xx Most of the issues have been resolved on Vista. (Not sure on Linux though). And 88GT is a great great card to have. Best Bang for Quids! Highly recommended!

Yes it will work no problem.

174.xx was never officially released for 8800GT but with Loadsamoney's modded config it works. Never had any problems with the 169.xx drivers on the nv site.
 
Haha. Yeah I was suprised too but he upgraded and doesn't need it anymore. He was going to put it on eBay but is selling it to me instead. Showed me it running. COD4 looks sweeeeeet on it!
 
Yeah. In another thread I got a little help speccing a new rig and it ended up at around £450.

With the help of a few mates I've cut it down to around £250. :D

Getting a E6600 for £50 from a friend :)
