8800GTS (320MB) Overclock

Hi there,

Trying to overclock this card to 625/925, but everytime I reboot it defaults back to the factory settings.

Is there something I can do or use to make the overclock stick?

(Using the "Performance" settings in the NVIDIA Control Panel, by the way)

flash it

flash the bios with that clocks? if u dont want to do that you could try ati tool then set it so when ever ati tool launched that clocks are set

I only have a Nvidia Geforce 7600 gt but i had the same problem getting the overclock to stick using the nvidia panel. With RivaTuner you can save the overclock settings now you know what you want and get them to loadup when the computer is rebooted. Hope this is some help

yeah rivatuner is the best as the settings are saved and turned on at boot up. i wouldnt recomend flashing it unless you are confident with doing that

As above use RivaTuner as it will let you save a profile and automaticaly load it at windows startup. Dont bother with NV Panel its rubbish. Supposed to be able to apply clocks on startup but its borked and wont load any saved profiles...
