Yer right, theres no AA on at all there.

indeed

Check the settings, i've had trouble once taking aa on, it said to restart the game ( after setiing 4x aa in settings ) but after each restart aa was disabled again, i can't renember what fixed it...

I had this problem with HL2, but it was because I had it set to x6 AA and Nvidia Cards obviously can't do this setting.

Why are you using x4aa anyway? Ramp it up to 8xQ or 16xQ. Also, is the Antialiasing mode set to "Enhance application"?

it id the game thank f. 2142 seems to be working, might have to reinstall bf2 or something, and yes its set to enhance, have also tried the others.

4xaa seems enough to get rid of the jaggid edges, imma try 16xq, whats the xq mean

Is it possible to make the driver set it for the game with game profiles or something?

Or try BF2 6x aa option :D :D

oops i added bf2 to the games list and forgot all about it! thats why the global settings dont work cos the game settings was set to none, im too used to ati drivers, thanx man god im a f idiot

Texture filtering IN BF2 is probably set to Low, 6xAA is ATI only, you can use 2x,4x,8x, without over-riding in Nvidia CP.
