Well the rumor was that the release date is tomorrow. But in the past NVIDIA have always released on Mondays at 2pm in the past have they not? So who knows it might be today. The fact that OcUK are already adding the pages to the website suggests that it will definately be today or tomorrow.

I got mine for a smudge over £150
I wouldn't be upgrading uptil 9800gtx on release
You could sell it for £185 or so now.
The GTS will be easier to sell come feb

I thought they were on the same par, and re sale value of the old GTX is going to be much lower, and i wont be owning the card forever.
Plus i'm not paying for it, its an xmas prezzie, and i'd like a branded card of some sort, not just OC special (no offense to OC, thats just my pref)
Although i was very tempted with their GTX, i want the newer card instead.
First impressions playing crysis for a few minutes, it's a lot smoother. As it should be since crysis is a very shader intensive game, went from medium shadows to high shadows and kept the same fps (all high, custom texture, medium post processing, 1920x1200). You can feel the extra shader power, playing through the first level again. This is coming from a gt clocked at 650/100 (bad clocker

now I'm wondering did I make a mistake selling the gtx before crysis came out because I never played it with and 128 feels very smooth. Gaming above 1920x1200 is hella slow on crysis, most likely bandwidth or memory starved.

Hmmmm i've found a site selling for £180 inc p&p. Reckon this will be the cheapest that i can find it for?
Edit: WTF the site i was looking at has now changed the card title from a gts to a gt*******.
