8800gts 640 temps

hi

ive just run furmark stability test with my card clocked to
620-core

1800- mem

1450- shaders

and its getting to 83 c after 20 mins . does that sound ok and is furmark pushing my card more than fallout 3

with mine in furmark it was maxing in the mid 70s, default oc. fan speed reaching 80%
id imagine as long as its stable, its fine

Mine with default oc, a bfg 8800gts 640mb, on 60% fan (which i dont think increases) is about 50c or lower idle and about 60c when running 3dmark06. Havent overclocked it anymore because i dont really need to.

im using expert tool to overclock and the fan is on 100%
i read somewhere that furmark murders your g/card so i cant see it getting that hot in a game unless anyone knows better

Well of course 3dmark is going to tax the gpu, thats what it is meant for. So yeah it may give slightly un realistic results but as long as its below 100c and not showing artifacts or anything then its all good.
