I can't overclock my card, in the Adjust GPU Settings area if I try to use Custom clock frequencies it won't let me - if I click find optimal the screen will turn my desktop colour and the PC will freeze, help please

i had same problem, tryed rivatuner but it causes random reboots all the time so scrapped that, anymore ideas, ATItool seems iffy as well, gonna try a driver update then ATItool

I used the Reg hack and coolbits showed my Gpu as 600/1000 and unstable, couldnt OC and couldnt use the advanced settings. Back with the new CP and happy.

ive you use rivatuner to oc by 1 mhz then reboot with it auto oc on rebot you can use nvidia control pannel to do the overclock or atleast choose optimal overclock.. then set them on rivatuner and al should be good

Rivatuner worked fine thanks - got a few queries about some of display settings with the Nvidia control panel though, using a 2407WFP I was wondering whether I should tick "treat as HDTV" and set custom timings?

edit: something strange just happened, i went to run 3dmark06 to test the overclock stability (600/2000) and i received this: http://img406.imageshack.us/img406/8598/wtflb7.gif

also notice the bottom right avg anti-spyware taskbar icon greyed out, for some reason the resident shield had turned off - very weird???
