8800GTS best drivers? COD4

I have a 8800GTS 512mb I was running the latest from Nvidia until the other day when I changed to 174.31, 3dMark runs fine, maybe even gained some points but in Cod4 I keep getting little crashes, the game locks for a few seconds then runs ok again and I get a message on my desktop after saying the display driver stopped responding and recovered.

Which drivers are the best ones to use? Running Vista 32 bit btw.

I've been on 174.12's for a while now, all my games (inc CoD4) run great.

Couldn't tell you about 3dmark, dont have that game here.
